La Navarie

La Navarie is a ‘coin-perdu’ or hidden place, a tiny hamlet at the end of a small track set amongst rolling hills on the edge of the limousin-Perigord national park in the Dordogne region of France. We have taken nearly two years to totally renovate our 300 year-old farm cottage from a total wreck that stood empty for 25 years. A hectare of our land faces the cottage and slopes away gently down the valley towards the river at the bottom, perfect for paddling and picnics on a hot day.
