Property Location Le Moulin and La Gardienenne are situated in the white region of the Dordogne, (Perigord Blanc), just on the outskirts of the famous village Sorges. Sorges is world famous for its Black Truffles which are a delicacy well worth trying. Why not visit the museum in Sorges to find out more about the truffles. La Gardienienne is a lovely stone cottage sitting on its own in the grounds of La Grand Moulin the cottage has its own private garden which backs onto a refreshing shared pool with a barbecue. The cottage has one double bedroom with an on-suite, there is an open planned lounge/dinning room and kitchen which is fully equipped with a washing machine, fridge freezer and cooker. It also has satellite Television, the cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard. Outside the cottage you have a large garden with its own patio area where you can sit back in the Dordogne sun.

Within 20mins of the Properties is the city of Perigueux, Renaissance capital city of the Dordogne, a most fantastic and impressive town of great history and Architecture. Wonder through the medieval cobbled street with shops and plenty of local history, on Saturday and Thursday Perigueux has a market with all local produce which is well worth a visit; there are plenty of cafes and excellent restaurants to sit back and have a lazy lunch and a glass of wine.
Brantonne – The Venice of the Perigord
Surrounded by the river Dronne this small town is very pictures with caves and plenty of history, here you can go canoeing through the country side and finish in the centre of Brantonne, or if this is to energetic, you can take a boat cruise through the town and sit back in the sun and enjoy the sites of this most beautiful town, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to sit and unwind in and enjoy a good meal
There are many of places of interest in this area for you to explore from chateaus to caves and vineyards there is canoeing, hores riding and walking. The Dordogne is haven of relaxation and adventure with something for everyone.
