Les Chiens Blanc is on the edge of the village on the magnificent Pays de Sault near to all amenities. Plenty of activities can be found in the area including, walking, cycling, white water sports, skiing & birdwatching. Historic Cathar castles & quaint local markets. The wine regions of Languedoc, Corbieres, Minervois & Roussillion are nearby, visit the 'caves' & sample the Blanquette of Limoux. Stunning views & wild beauty make this an area not to be missed.

Les Chiens Blanc has a traditional open plan lounge with pine furniture, TV, electric central heating & a pleasant decor. The pine dining suite seats 6 & is convenient for serving from the well equipped kitchen. Gas hob & electric oven, coffee maker & toaster along with plenty of crockery & utensils feature in the kitchen. Linen & cleaning products are supplied. Sofa bed available if required. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize pine bed, matching wardrobe & chest of drawers. 1 radiator Bedroom 2 has twin beds with centre unit, pine dressing table & wardrobe. 1 radiator. The fully tiled bathroom has a modern shower cubicle, washhand basin with mirror above & seperate W.C. There is a large garden with picnic table. Parking for 3 cars. There is also a swimming lake to the rear of the property. Welcome pack & linen supplied. Evening meal service available on request. Non smokers prefered, pets welcome.

On foot, by car or bike the Pays de Sault is a countryside of deep gorges, passes & plateaux, not to be missed are the gorges de Rebenty & the gorges de la Frau. The spectacular medieval 'cite' of Carcassonne & the Cathar castles of Montsegur & Puivert. Enjoy the local cuisine, river trout or salmon, wild boar & game, delicious wild mushrooms & goats cheese. Taste the wines of the region in the 'caves'. Visit the local weekly markets or just relax & swim in the lake.
