The gite is set in a small hamlet, just 4km from the village of Augerolles with small shops. 6km from the glorious lake of Aubusson where you can swim, fish, carry out water sports, use the childrens play areas/barbecue areas and there is an equestrian centre near by. The nearest main town is Thiers (25kms) with hypermarkets and new shopping complex. Clermont Ferrand is 50km away with every activity possible as well as Vulcania.

The accommodation will sleep 8 adults, with 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms as well as 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. The living area consists of a fully functional kitchen with a micro-wave, hob and oven and dishwasher. The dining room has 2 dining tables and large windows over looking the garden, the lounge has a large wood burning fire, large sofa and armchairs and has a tv and dvd player for those not so nice days. French windows from this room lead out to the beautiful garden on 5000m². There is a large outside table with chairs, barbecue, table tennis table and childrens toys. Everything to keep the younger members of the family entertained.

Places of Interest

The surrounding area is perfect for visiting, the lake at only 6km is a must on those beautiful summer days. As well as other activities such as cycling and horse riding. About 15km is a karting circuit that can be hired by the hour etc. The village of Augerolles has a tennis court that can be hired. The area is renound for the chateaux and many in the area are open for visits. La Chaise Dieu is close by with a gorgeous village and many classical concerts held there. Clermont Ferrand hosts Vulcania a very interesting day out to venture into the life of volcanoes. Noire Etable hosts a brand new casino and near Thiers is the Moulin Bleu hosting a cabaret and evening meals. There are numerous restaurants providing local cuisine
